The RABJ Media Watch program is a vital function designed to monitor the portrayal of Blacks in local news reports. Media Watch Committee members critique, and when needed, make recommendations to media outlets to improve their coverage. Providing Media Watch reports to the public is in keeping with a committment made during the AARM community forum on "Racism in the Media" held February 25, 2009.
